Who We Are

Solar Flies, LLC is a new, small, family-owned drone (quadcopter) photography business based in Chapel Hill, NC.

Business owner Devin Ceartas is licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration as a small unmanned aircraft system (UAS) pilot (Remote Pilot Certificate Part 107).

We can provide aerial images to help promote your location or event, or to save you from needing to get up on the roof. See our image gallery for examples.

Solar? Really? We use a small solar panel to charge the batteries which fly our drone.
